We receive questions from new and longtime customers on a daily basis. Not everybody feels comfortable asking questions, so we thought we would take a little pressure off and address some of our most frequently asked CottageCare questions!

Do I need to be home while my house is being cleaned?

Not at all! One of our many goals at CottageCare is to be a convenience to our customers and not put a halt to their day.

Why does my house not “smell” clean?

CottageCare is a “green” cleaning company, meaning all of the products we use are non-toxic, non-abrasive, and are essentially odorless.

Can I have the same crewmember each time

As much as we wish we could guarantee this, it doesn’t always work out that way. Our service center managers do what they can to ensure you have a crewmember that you feel comfortable with or will be the best match for your home. Ideally, we like to have 2-3 crewmembers familiar with your home should a particular crewmember not be available for your scheduled cleaning for whatever reason.

Should I leave a tip?

As with any service provided, like going to a restaurant or a hair salon, tipping is encouraged. The current tipping standard is 15-20%.
